Daly, who operated Modded Hardware, initially denied any wrongdoing but ultimately agreed to pay Nintendo to avoid further legal proceedings. Nintendo’s lawsuit, filed in July 2024, accused Daly of selling modded consoles and devices that allowed users to play pirated games, including popular titles like Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda.
